Attack on Trevor Noah: Instagram suspends Kanye West

Kanye West has been suspended from the social media platform, Instagram.

The suspension was announced on Wednesday, March 16 by Meta, the parent company of Instagram after a slur post by the rapper that targeted Trevor Noah.

However, the suspension is only for 24 hours.

Kanye had quoted “Kumbaya, My Lord,” but changed he changed the lyrics to include a racial slur directed at Trevor Noah.

Meta while confirming the suspension to TMZ, cited a violation of the company’s policies on hate speech, harassment, and bullying. The company further added that they will take further actions if the violations continue.
